Lewandowski curled one from the edge of the box to bring Poland back into the game
Emil Forsberg struck as early as 2nd min and doubled Sweden’s lead in the 60th min, before Robert Lewandowski pulled two goals back, which included an incredible curled effort from the edge of the box, however it was not enough as Claesson scored in the 94th min for Sweden making the score 3-2 in Sweden’s favour as the Polish crash out from the group stage of the EURO 2020. Poland started the match in a frenzied fashion as Sweden took a very early lead as they were ruing missed chances particularly as Lewandowski hit the woodwork in the first half with score 1-0 which turned out to be the pivotal moment of the thrilling match.

Lindelof had a decent performance today, however the Swedish defence looked out of sort as they conceded twice

Had a very average performance on the pitch today, was wasteful with his passes and didn’t provide the attacking support as expected

Had a decent show today alongside Lindelof, but looked all over the place in the later stages of the game when Poland started attacking.

Put in a decent performance in the middle of the park, was not quite accurate with his passing and had a shot off target late in the game.

Had a very average game in the middle of the passing, with his passing game well below standard.

Scored twice to put Sweden in a comfortable position. Had a brilliant game out on the pitch today and was pivotal in Sweden’s victory.

Assisted the first goal of Sweden, he carried on with his lively form in the EURO 2020 and kept the Polish defence troubled.

Didn’t have a very good game, was decent overall with some good moments in patches.

Didn’t have much impact on the game however kept the Polish defence alert with some good moments.

Failed to make any mark on the game, his crosses were inaccurate and dealt very easily by the Swedish defence.

He put in a very good performance today as he was heart of every Polish attack and was rewarded with an assist to his name

Was inaccurate as his crosses failed to land on the target men upfront, lacked tempo in his game

Failed to make any impact on the attacking front and hence was substituted during half time.
Robert Lewandowski (C) – 9/10
Single handedly turned the game around and almost gave Poland the home of making past the group stage. Was a fox in the box for his second goal topped with an incredible curling effort to bring Poland back into the game with his first goal.
