Tennis legend, Rafael Nadal has finally opened up about his feelings for Kylian Mbappe after the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He has given his verdict on teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe who subbed Real Madrid and renewed his contract with PSG this summer. Nadal has been a lifelong supporter of Real Madrid and has always been in the stands to support them in crucial cup matches.
The Qatar World Cup witnessed what Real Madrid missed out on as the Frenchman became the destroyer of defences on the international stage. He led the French side to a successive World Cup final. He singles handily got the team back to the game after going down 2-0 in the final against Argentina. The efforts weren’t enough to defend the title as Lionel Messi’s man became triumphant.
Nadal has open up about his opinion on the young striker. He has already forgiven him for not signing for Real Madrid. The clay-court king believes Mbappe was under much pressure from external forces regarding his renewal. Nadal said, “I don’t have to forgive Mbappé for anything, in sports these things happen,”.
He said he was ready to accept Mbappe to the club at any time. Nadal added, “He wanted to come to Real Madrid but was under much pressure, and everything was complicated for him. I hope to see him in Madrid in the future. As a Real Madrid fan, I will sign Mbappé tomorrow,”.
