Real Madrid will be going head to head against Athletic Bilbao not only for the third time in this season but also for the third time in a month. Thibaut Courtois the Belgian goalkeeper has kept forward his thoughts and views on playing Bilbao for the third time this season.

“It’s almost like the NBA, playing Athletic so many times. But, each football match is different and tomorrow’s game could be very different to the other ones we just played. Next week, the back-to-back cup and league games against Elche should be different too,” Thibaut Courtois in a press conference

“We have many players with experience of playing finals, but our opponents also played three finals last season and they won one of them. The coach will motivate us before the game tomorrow, but we also don’t need much motivation because we’re playing for a trophy. We didn’t get to play any finals last season.”

Real Madrid will look to secure their first cup this season as the Los Blancos have not added any silverware in their trophy cabinet since the last season where they also missed the Spanish League by just 2 points losing to Athletico Madrid.

Real Madrid has not conceded many goals this season which says a lot about the new pair of Centre backs currently at the club. Vinicius Junior and Benzema has also been in terrific form and it will be exciting to see whether the Brazilian and Frenchmen make a difference in the final result.
