Thomas Tuchel looks for an answer from Chelsea after their FA Cup defeat against Leicester

Thomas Tuchel unhappy with the proposed changes in the Champions League format
Chelsea have suffered consecutive defeats for the first time under Thomas Tuchel this season. A 1-0 defeat against Arsenal was followed by a Cup final defeat against Leicester this weekend and recent results have built up the pressure on Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea are now in a tight spot in the race for Top-4 and another defeat could see Liverpool over take them into the final spot for the Champions league. They are currently 2 points off Leicester in the 4th place and lead Liverpool by just a solitary point heading into the penultimate game of the season.
Chelsea need to win one of their remaining matches to secure Champions League football next season

Thomas Tuchel is determined to bring about a chance in fortune for Chelsea and believes that it is only his side who are to blame for the close Top-4 race. Chelsea had taken a 5 point lead over Liverpool which has now been cut short to just 1.
Thomas Tuchel is optimistic Chelsea will show their resolve and secure their place in the Champions League next season.
The German manager spoke to the media ahead of Wednesday’s game against Leicester and said, “The setback was the Arsenal game [a 1-0 defeat last week].
“It is our fault that it is so close again. We let the door open and Liverpool put a foot in the door. This is what they do, this is a strong team.”
“We had a huge effort to overcome them and to close the gap to overtake them. This is what we did and we can be aware of this huge performance that we did so far. But we want to finish the job.“
“We are in the lucky situation that we can rely on ourselves and don’t have to look at other grounds. If we bring out the same performance as in the final, the same work rate and energy, improve with details in the match, we are able to win games. We are aware we need momentum and luck in any match for results.”
Chelsea need to answer their manager’s request and secure their place in the Top-4 of the Premier League this season.
