Transfer Rumor: David Beckham hold talks with Lionel Messi over a potential move to Inter Miami after the PSG deal expires
Paris Saint Germain took the football world by storm when they signed Lionel Messi for free on a two year contract from FC Barcelona in one of the most craziest transfer in the in the football history. The Argentinean captain announced that he is leaving the club after 21 years in what was one of the most emotional farewell.
The 34 year old winger bid farewell to the Catalan club after they failed to renew his contract as a result of heavy wages of several players at the club and, Also incurring huge losses last season due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Inter Miami owner David Beckham will try to bring Lionel Messi to the MLS club once his PSG contract ends in 2023. Messi has also showed his desire of playing in MLS before hanging up his boots. David Beckham is also keeping a close eye on the former Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
However reports by The Mirror claim that Messi was approached by the club while he was on vacation in Miami after winning the Copa America with Argentina earlier this summer.
The MLS club already has top players from Europe, with the likes of Blaise Matuidi and former Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain. However the club from South Florida has struggled for form in MLS this season under Phil Neville sitting 11th in the table winning just 22 points from the 19 games played.
David Beckham and co-owner Jorge Mas are keen to bring in a big name at the club and Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo could certainly boost their chances to land the MLS trophy.
The six times Ballon D’or winner will be potentially making his Paris Saint Germain next week against Reims on 29th August.
