Porto vs AC Milan: Match Preview
Porto were involved in a humiliating and tormenting 5-1 defeat against Liverpool at the same venue as their upcoming match against AC Milan, Estádio de Dragão. Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino’s brace and Sadio Mané’s goal helped Liverpool get those five fantastic goals to give them an inevitable lead in the match. Porto gave their all in and did fight back but all they could manage was a consolation goal by Mehdi Taremi in the 74th minute. In the end, the three points went to Liverpool and Porto went tumbling down to second last on the table.
Meanwhile, AC Milan were involved in a much disappointing encounter of the league which was played against Atlético Madrid at San Siro. The stadium erupted with Atlético Madrid supporters chanting after the final seconds’ drama. In the 20th minute of the match, AC Milan got the lead courtesy of a brilliant goal by forward Rafael Leão. However, it all went downhill every since when Franck Kessié was sent back courtesy of a red card. The ten men Milan side faced the likes of Antonie Griezmann, who scored the equaliser for Atlético Madrid. That troublesome equaliser was then met with Luis Suarez’s winning goal in the final few seconds of added time that gave his side a conventional win.
