UEFA Champions League: RB Leipzig vs Club Brugge Live Stream, Preview and Prediction
UEFA Champions League action returns as Matchday 2 sees RB Leipzig take on Club Brugge in Group A clash at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig on Tuesday 28th September. Ahead of the game we take a look at the Live Stream, Preview and Prediction details for the RB Leipzig vs Club Brugge.
RB Leipzig vs Club Brugge: Preview
Both sides will be looking for their first win in this season’s Champions League group stage campaign when they take on each other. RB Leipzig were humbled 6-3 by Manchester City in matchday one even though Christopher Nkunku scored a hattrick for his side. Leipzig manager Jesse Marsch made a difficult start to the season with three defeats in the first four league games of the season, And his fear of his side not being able to compete with Manchester City was right when six different scorers racked up the goals against them in a thrilling 6-3 encounter.
However the German outfit have since then racked up six goals of their own in their recent 6-0 win over Hertha Berlin with Christopher Nkunku scoring a brace and Emil Forsberg, Yussuf Poulsen, Amadou Haidara and Nordi Mukiele also got in on the act. Leipzig won their all three home games in the group last season with consisted of wins over heavyweights Manchester United and PSG.
Meanwhile, Club Brugge are full of confidence after their matchday 1 draw against PSG. With the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar all starting together for the first time Brugge were expected to become their first victims of the Parisien goal fest. However it was rather unlikely scorer for PSG in the form of midfielder Ander Herrera who opened the scoring in the 15th minute.
Club Brugge levelled matters with captain Hans Vanaken scoring from just inside the penalty box. It was a game where the Belgian outfit would’ve won the game but Keylor Navas kept his side in it with some great saves. After their performance against PSG in the first group game, Club Brugge are definitely not a rollover side in Group A.

RB Leipzig vs Club Brugge: Prediction
RB Leipzig have improved after their 6-3 loss to Manchester City and after racking up six goals in their last Bundesliga match have surely done a ton of good to their confidence coming into this game. But Club Brugge are not a side who will leaky at the back and they showed that against PSG. Leipzig are still a quality side overall and hence we predict a win for the home side RB Leipzig in this game.
