Liverpool are unstoppable at the moment as it takes them just thirteen minutes to go 1-0 against Atletico Madrid at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp’s men started the game brightly and the pressure paid off as Alexander Arnold’s cross was met by Diogo Jota at the back post with the Atletico centre backs failing to pick the Portuguese.
Jordan Henderson played the ball into the path of Trent who was unmarked in the right side as Simeone’s men were all over place trying to stop Liverpool. The cross from Trent was inch perfect and Jota just had the make sure he makes decent contacts and heads the ball past Jan Oblak and the former Wolves player made no mistake.

Just when Atletico were getting a grip onto the game Mane popped up to score the second of the game and once again it was Trent Alexander Arnold who put the ball into a dangerous area as the Senegalese international tapped in from close range to give Liverpool a commanding 2-0 lead inside 25 minutes. it looks like Simeone’s men are once again heading to a second defeat against Liverpool in less than two weeks after a 3-2 loss at the Wanda Metropolitano.
