WATCH- EURO 2020: Wales Vs Switzerland- Wales and Switzerland play it out for an eventful draw

The second Group A fixture of Euro 2020 today between Wales and Switzerland was dominated mostly by the Swiss side as they made most of the play and Wales defending by sitting deep for most lengths of the game. Chances were scarce, as both the team failed to make changes to the score sheet in the first half.
Breel Embolo opened the scoring for the Swiss early in the second half in Wales Vs Switzerland

Switzerland had dominated throughout the game and were rewarded ultimately when Borussia Monchengladbach’s forward Breel Embolo gave them the lead early in the second half at the 49th minute. Shaqiri delivers a brilliant corner and Embolo rose the highest to head the ball into the far corner, much beyond the reach of Wales goalie Danny Ward.
It was a wake up call for the Welsh, as they started playing with greater determination with a will to comeback strongly.
Forward Kieffer Moore drew level for Wales in the 74th minute, when he met Joe Morell’s cross with a fantastic header.

Switzerland came back strongly and almost led again, and Gavranovic could have ended up a super sub, as he scored just after coming on, but the goal was ruled out due to offside. They pressed on and created many chances but could not alter the final scoreline as the game as it ended in a draw.

Breel Embolo was rightly adjudged the man of the match with his brilliant show with the ball and threatening the Wales goal now and then. Both teams will now look to bounce back in style in their upcoming games.
