The Lusail Iconic Stadium will host the event on the 18th of December, Sunday. The match will also be significant as it is the final World Cup game for Lionel Messi.
Both teams have had equal points in different groups, with 2 wins and 1 loss each—both the wins against stronger oppositions and a loss against the weakest in the group. Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia, and France lost to Tunisia.
The South American giants and The European nation have had quite a similar World Cup history. They have had 2 World Cups each and are eyeing their third. They are just a game away from creating an account and maybe putting their name on the list of the elite players to be part of the competition throughout history.

They lost to Italy in the 2006 World Cup final. In 2018 they won agist Croatia’s golden generation, which was in his prime, in Russia.
Argentina was the runners-up in the first-ever football World Cup in 1930. The next time out, they were the champions 48 years later in 78. 8 years later, Diego Maradona lifted the trophy again in 1986 and lost to West Germany in the successive World Cup finals in 1990. 2014 was the last time they reached the finals, only to lose to Germany again.
