Former WWE Champion Says He Has ‘Zero Interest’ in Becoming a Hollywood actor

Finn Balor of The Judgment Day has claimed that being a Hollywood actor doesn't interest him at all. He seems fine with his standing in WWE.

Professional wrestling has given a number of stellar actors to Hollywood, with the likes of Dave Bautista, Dwayne Johnson, and John Cena ruling the roost. There are a few examples on the current roster who are budding for that transition, but not everyone thinks alike. Having said that, Finn Balor is an anomaly.

Recently, a fan on X tagged The Prince and asked if he’d consider becoming a Hollywood actor. Balor, in return, said that he has zero interest. The Irishman will turn 44 this July, and he seems at peace with where he’s at in life currently. He has never starred in an actual full-length movie, nor does it appear like he’s willing to do so.

Last year in December, the Judgment Day member completed a decade of his services in WWE. It was claimed by a report from WrestleVotes that Balor had established himself as a locker room leader by that point and was lined up for a sustained singles push heading into 2025. More than six months into it, nothing has changed for The Irish Captor as far as his booking is concerned.

He’s still chasing the tag team titles alongside JD McDonagh when, in theory, the veteran was pegged for singles glory. Back at WrestleMania 41, the fans thought that Balor would finally win the Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal 4-Way match. However, his own stablemate, Dominik Mysterio, pinned the Irish grappler to dethrone Bron Breakker for the gold.

Finn Balor’s recent change hasn’t sat well with The Judgment Day in WWE

The Judgment Day faction has undergone some changes of late. First of all, Carlito, who brought the comedic relief factor to the table, exited WWE a few days ago. The company decided against renewing his contract. Secondly, the most significant change in the dynamics of the stable has been the assimilation of Roxanne Perez into the fold. She was brought in by Finn Balor himself.

Ever since that point on, things haven’t been going well. Perez’s proximity to Dominik Mysterio has started to bother Liv Morgan. In fact, last week on Raw, Daddy Dom’s guerita had to incur a jab from Nikki Bella as the latter was questioning her on-screen boyfriend’s allegiance. Morgan also failed to advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament, but Perez, being in the same match, sealed her spot.

Morgan has already confronted Balor, expressing her dislike for his idea of bringing The Prodigy on board. By the looks of it, Balor and Perez are in cahoots. Almost every week, WWE teases that there are tensions within the Judgment Day, and it might be on the brink of breaking up. But, as things stand, they remain a cohesive unit.

Finn Balor posts a wholesome message for his father

Finn Balor has never shied from showing love to his father, Fintan Devitt. Yesterday, on the occasion of Father’s Day, the inaugural WWE Universal Champion posted a heartfelt note for Mr. Devitt. Balor said that he doesn’t have a manager, agent, personal advisor, driver, or personal assistant but his dad.

The former Bullet Club leader said that for every decision taken and championship won, he’s indebted to his father. That being said, Mr. Devitt would definitely love to see his son re-enter the main event scene in WWE before calling it quits.

The closest he’d come to becoming a world champion again was at SummerSlam 2023. The Prince had Seth Rollins on spaghetti legs and seemed like he’d dethrone The Visionary. But some ringside shenanigans from Damian Priest cost Balor dearly.
