Former WWE Women’s Champion reveals the reason behind not returning to the promotion

Candice Michelle is a former WWE Women’s Champion. The company initially hired her under the gimmick of a makeup artist in 2004. Michelle was also the first “WWE Diva Search” contestant to win the women’s title. In 2009, Candice was drafted to the SmackDown brand. Afterwards, she didn’t appear in a televised event for a long time following her release from the company later that year.
The 44-year-old returned to WWE during the Raw Reunion episode where she won the 24/7 championship. Shortly after, she lost the title to Alundra Blayze by submission. The fans have not seen the former women’s champion since then. In a recent interview with WrestlingNews.co, Candice Michelle addressed why she hasn’t appeared on WWE TV. She claimed to not be very active on social media sites, unlike the other former superstars.
Candice Michelle also said that she is raising three children. Due to not being active on social media, Michelle thinks she has lost the connection with her fans. The former women’s champion asserted that the current fans don’t know her very well. The former women’s champion also stated that she has several health issues due to which the thought of returning to the promotion was never her priority.
As the interview went on, Candice Michelle also addressed the issue of panic attacks. She also said that Melina didn’t want to drop the title to her because she came from a Hollywood background. Hence, only time will tell what the future holds for the WWE veteran.

Will Candice Michelle ever return to WWE TV?
Candice Michelle is the first wrestler from ‘WWE Diva Search’ to win the women’s championship. It has been a long time since the WWE universe saw the former champ on WWE TV. There is no speculation or news that has come out regarding her return.
WWE Universe recently witnessed the return of two of the greatest female superstars in the history of the promotion, Lita and Trish Stratus. Just like them, Candice Michelle may also return sometime in the future. However, it doesn’t look like she will return soon unless WWE has planned a surprise for the fans.
Candice claimed of dealing with a lot of transitions and health issues lately, yet she said, “I’ve gone through many transitions recently and had some health issues lately and so it’s actually good that it’s not my time right now, but I’m coming out of that so maybe next year at this time when it happens.” It is possible to say that Candice Michelle may think of returning to the ring in a year or so. However, she has no plans of returning now as she is currently prioritizing her personal life more.
