The WWE Universe was on the edge of their seats at this week’s Raw when John Cena’s theme song hit the titantron screen. The Cenation Leader returned to WWE after a long absence. However, the 16-time world champion showed no inclination towards that. The two of them had a back-and-forth exchange of words in the ring. Moreover, Austin Theory mocked Cena and said that he felt like The Champ gave up despite his own catchphrase, ‘Never Give Up.’
To this, the Cenation Leader said that he rejected the match just to save Theory’s a**. But after constant provocation, John Cena accepted Austin Theory’s challenge for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 39. The crowd at TD Garden gave a loud pop to this segment. Moreover, Cena told Theory that he made the biggest mistake of his life. In the end, John Cena roasted Austin Theory in front of the fans and left the ring.

Austin Theory’s career rising above the horizon
With his main roster debut, Austin Theory captured the attention of former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Mr. McMahon looked at Theory as a big star in the company’s future. Despite the shift in WWE Creative, Theory’s value remained constant. Triple H also saw much potential in the former NXT star and saw him as a big name in the company. It is evident from his bookings in recent months.
Over the months, WWE has elevated the level of Austin Theory. Moreover, the United States Champion impressed the fans with his character development. According to rumors, WWE always planned to book Theory in a match with John Cena. Moreover, the company believes booking the youngster in a program with John Cena would tremendously elevate his career.
