The Ferrari F1 team boss Mattia Binotto said it’s presumptuous to declare today that we will beat Mercedes and Red Bull, because he thinks the correct approach is to set themselves the goal of wanting to play it. He went on to say as Ferari we aspire to be the best winning every races.

“Obviously if Mercedes and Red Bull have managed in recent years to develop the cars we have seen,” said Mattia BInotto

It means that they have tools, methodologies, calculations, simulations, and other certainties that they have refined over time. I therefore consider it presumptuous to declare today that we will beat Mercedes and Red Bull, because I think the correct approach is to set ourselves the goal of wanting to play it,” Mattia Binotto added.

How many races do we want to win? As much as possible, when I say that as Ferrari we must always aspire to the best, it is true, we do not want to start a subdued season on the expectations front. What we will say to ourselves internally is that we want to win as many races as possible.” Mattia Binotto explained.
