Carlos Sainz
Carlos Sainz is one of the more talented drivers that we have in Formula 1. It’s not like he has just come in his own after his big move to Ferrari. We saw him getting the best out the car in his time with Renault and McLaren. But, with a much more competitive car, he has been to actually show what he can actually do on the race track. He has had an amazing start to the season with already two podiums under his belt. This has helped Ferrari take a commanding lead at the start of the season in the constructor’s championship. It looks like Ferrari can on to something big with both Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc firing on all cylinders.
But, Carlos Sainz has had his fair share of crashes in Formula 1 and some of them have been really painful to see.

He has never been the one to back down from a fight and has come in his home with his stint with Ferrari. But when we compare him to other drivers, he definitely hasn’t had those many crashes.

When we think of his biggest crashes, Sochi has to top the list. The then Toro Rosso racing driver, Carlos Sainz, had an almighty scare during free practice in the 2015-16 season. He lost control of the car and hit the wall at a speed of roughly 93 mph. Sainz’s 46G crash was painful to see. He was fortunately walk out of it unscathed but it definitely was scary to see.
The other crash which definitely makes the list has to be the Monza one last one which brought out red flags in FP2. The Spaniard had a huge crash at the Ascari chicane. That crash made him lose the rear end of the car with the heavy impact that the car incurred with the crash into the barriers.
