George Russell and Lewis Hamilton

George Russell and Lewis Hamilton might not have the ideal start to the season on the track but that hasn’t stopped them from building a strong relationship off the track. The duo seemed to have understood that if the team needs to recover from these early bumps, they have to stand together and help each other out. Lewis Hamilton, being the senior of the two, has taken it upon himself to make the youngster feel at ease.

Both Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are trying to get the best out of what they have. But, there doesn’t seem to be anything else that they can do keeping in mind the problems Mercedes’ W-13 seems to be facing with porpoising. Despite of the problems, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton were able to secure P3 and P4 respectively.

Both of them seemed to be building a solid bond off the track. Recently, Lewis Hamilton took to Instagram and uploaded a picture where both the Mercedes drivers went surfing together in Australia. Angela Cullen, Lewis Hamilton’s confidante, was quick to leave a hilarious comment on the picture.

The seven time world champion, Lewis Hamilton, was impressed by the remarkable work ethic shown by his team mate. He recently said, “It’s incredible. He’s done an amazing job, he did an amazing job [in Australia], had great pace.”

“He’s been so solid over these first three races. He’s working, really grafting away, he’s doing an amazing job.”

“It was an amazing result for us as a team, honestly, such a positive. We were 1.2 seconds off on Friday and it wasn’t looking spectacular at that point.” As reported by gpfans.

It’s imperative that both of them work together in this time of crisis and roll back the days sooner rather than later. But, the early signs are positive and hope both George Russell and Lewis Hamilton can build on it.
