Max Verstappen has an opportunity to win Bahrain GP after Pierre Gasly brings out a safety car

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is right now on the cusp of stealing the top step of the podium after Pierre Gasly’s AlphaTauri caught fire. The Frenchman suffered a fire in his car and bought out the first safety car of the 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix
Charles Leclerc came on top as the Pole sitter for the first race weekender of the 2022 season. He set a time of 1:30.558 and took the first spot. Max has been suffering from a steering issue for a while.

Gasly’s car is still by the side of the track, although it is no longer on fire which is progress. Just to recap, the Safety Car is out for the AlphaTauri, which pulled over with what looked like a brake fire.
Leclerc and Verstappen shared an epic fight for 1st place during laps 15-20. Leclerc got the upper hand by chasing down Verstappen in the following straight using DRS. Since then the Monageque has maintained the lead on the race.
