Mick Schumacher and Ferrari to Hold Future Talks This Summer

Mick Schumacher recently revealed that his future will be decided over the summer break amid talks with Ferrari over his stay in the next season. Having being one of the rookie drivers to enter the world of Formula 1 in the 2021 season, mick Schumacher has been impressive on occasions wherein he has managed to maintain his calm and composure racing against the top-most drivers.
The German was given his promotion to F1 with his placement at Haas by the Scuderia as part of its driver academy. Mick Schumacher has largely impressed in his fledgling career although the 22-year-old has made a number of errors along the way.

Team principal Guenther Steiner has suggested the driver line-up for 2022 was just a case of dotting I’s and crossing T’s but Schumacher told Sky Sports F1, “The summer break is where things will intensify on that side.
“With Ferrari, we are always in contact about it but again, it has been something I haven’t really put my thoughts to but it is the summer break where we will talk about and see what direction we want to go for.”
Schumacher has been given a warm welcome to the F1 grid by experienced duo Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton and asked how helpful their advice has been, Schumacher said: “Of course, everybody on the grid has been very welcoming.
“I have known them from before but it is great to be on the same grid as them now and hopefully, in the near future, we will be able to fight with them.”
On his own team’s guidance, he added, “I think everybody in the team has been helping me to feel the way I do and it comes down to every single person working for the team that has been giving me the support I needed and also the guidance.
“So I am very happy to be here and I have been able to learn from them. We still have a second half of the season to go, my learning curve will still go on and improve.”
