Styrian Grand Prix: Pierre Gasly Suffers Puncture After Clash with Charles Leclerc; Heads Out

Pierre Gasly

After emerging as one of the most improved drivers in the current grid, French driver Pierre Gasly has been impressing race after race and shows no good sign of slowing down. However, in the Styrian Grand Prix, Pierre Gasly suffered an early clash with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and as a result has been ruled out for the remainder of the race.

The spoken about clash resulted in the AlphaTauri being ruled out. On the other hand, Charles Leclerc was left strolling at the end of the pack during the initial stages. With Carlos Sainz continuing his impressive form, Leclerc has been struggling to make his way up to the top after the clash with Pierre Gasly.

It was expected of Pierre Gasly to make a huge impression at the Red Bull Ring. However, as things stand the AlphaTauri driver has been ruled out. Alongside him, until the mid of the race, Williams’ George Russell has been ruled out of the race as well. Making these two as the only driver to be out of the Styrian Grand Prix.

Talking elsewhere, till the 45th lap, it is Red Bull’s Max Verstappen who has simply been exceptional in the race so far. With Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas behind him. Followed by Lando Norris and Sergio Perez.

Having led from the first lap onwards, it looks like the Dutchman is struggling with his aggressive brakes at the moment. Yet with 20 laps remaining, let’s see which driver fetches the maximum points.
