Performance of the RedBull drivers during the 2021 season
The 2021 Formula1 season was a roller coaster ride for the fans the media and the pundits of the sport. The RedBull team decided to recruit Sergio Perez for the 2021 season after a strong showing for Racing Point in 2020. Sergio had a decent first season at RedBull as he finished fourth in the standings with 190 points and also managed to get on the podium five times during the 2021 season. Moreover, he managed to win the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
As far as Max Verstappen is concerned, the 2021 season of Formula1 was Max Verstappen’s best season that he has had for the RedBull team. Max finished the season as the world champion and in the process of doing that managed to win 10 races, 10 pole positions, and 18 podium finishes during the season. Max was able to accumulate a total of 395.5 points during the whole course of the season.

Given all this, the RedBull team would be looking to retain their title during the 2022 season and it is going to be quite intriguing to see if Mercedes and co would be able to knock RedBull off their pedestal during the 2022 season.
