In his opinion, what is going on in Ukraine is not the driver’s fault but of the Russian President Vladamir Putin, and the drivers should not pay the price for Putin’s actions.

The FIA just a few days ago has canceled the Russian Grand Prix of the 2022 season and this decision came in wake of the sanctions that were being put by the world on Russian athletes to stop them from competing in international events.

Earlier the race was suspended indefinitely but recently the FIA decided to take their sanctions further by completely removing it from the 2022 calendar. Given the international pressure, it is believed that it is just a matter of time before Haas also sacks Mazepin on their part.
