Lewis Hamilton the former 7 time Formula One world champion has recently shared a wholesome moment where Hamilton and Russell are seen putting in the work at the gym ahead of the Australian Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamiton via his Instagram story has shared the moment where the duo is seen working out together and taking the time to share the moment with their fans all over the world.
The start of the 2022 season has not been ideal for the Mercedes team as they have looked well off the pace of Red Bull and Ferrari and are having trouble getting on top of the “porpoising” issue that is hampering their straight-line speeds.
Mercedes has got a lot of work on its hands and the team is working hard to get the issue under control as soon as possible and try to get the maximum performance out of their W13 challenger.
While the engineers are hard at work at the Mercedes factory, it is really heartwarming to see the two Mercedes drivers also doing their best in trying to stay in shape by hitting the gym ahead of the Australian Grand Prix. Such acts help in motivating the team and after looking at Hamiton’s story the team morale at the factory is only going to increase which will bode well for the team.
Lewis Hamilton and co need to get their act together as soon as possible
Mercedes currently has a huge pace deficit compared to the top two teams and the silver arrows Team Principal Toto Wolff has also previously admitted that they are behind Red Bull in all departments.
Given all this, it is high time that Mercedes starts getting their act together because otherwise in the next few races the gap between them and the top two teams can increase further.
Mercedes would not want Red Bull and Ferrari to get out of their catching distance and if they want to make sure of this, then they have only one option and that is to get on top of all the issues that they are currently facing and produce a W13 that can go wheel to wheel with the top dogs.
The upcoming race is the Australian Grand Prix and the way Lewis and George were seen “hitting the gym“, it seems the duo is all charged up for the upcoming race and it is going to be interesting to see if Mercedes would be able to challenge Ferrari and Red Bull in Australia.
