“We are in a better place” Max Verstappen looks forward to an exciting Bahrain GP weekend

Max Verstappen the 2021 F1 champion has recently revealed that he is really looking forward to the start of the new F1 season and is excited to find out during Saturday’s qualifying as to how good the RB 18 really is.
It has been stated in racingnews365 that the Mercedes and Ferrari F1 team have identified Red Bull as the team to beat ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix and Lewis Hamilton has even described their car as “ridiculously fast.”
Max Verstappen has admitted that the 2022 season is holding a lot of unknowns with the most important being how quick the RB 18 is as compared to the competition on the grid.

While talking about the RB 18’s performance, Max said, “I’m looking forward to seeing where we are compared to the rest of the grid come qualifying on Saturday.”
“The car looks good and as a team, we are in a good place.”
“The most important thing for us in Bahrain is to have a stable weekend, without too many issues, and we hope to score a good amount of points.”
Max Verstappen: There are a lot of unknowns

Max Verstappen is confident about the 2022 season but at the same time is a bit cautious given the unpredictability of the upcoming season.
Max has said, “We learned a lot at testing in Barcelona and Bahrain.”
“I’m very excited to turn our attention to racing now. It’s a whole new era for the sport and anything can happen.”
“The focus is to bring the grid together and make it easier to follow – I hope we see that in the first race.”
“Everything is so new so there are a lot of unknowns heading into the first race of the season.”

Max Verstappen is really excited for the upcoming season of F1 and is hopeful that everyone is going to witness close racing among the cars on the track in Bahrain. Red Bull has had really good testing sessions in Barcelona and Bahrain and now when the battle begins on March 18, it will be really interesting to see how well the RB18 has been developed as compared to the others on track.
