Daniel Ricciardo is loving his time in Austin, as he gears up for the USA Grand Prix this weekend. The Australian driver never fails to entertain his fans, as he comes up with unique ways to standout. The former Red Bull driver delivered an interview in American accent, as fans were impressed with his impersonation.
Daniel Ricciardo answered his interview questions in a typical Texas accent, as he spoke about his chances for the upcoming Grand Prix. The Australian was asked if he believes McLaren can be a real force at the US Grand Prix, to which he replied that he certainly does think so.
Two years ago, Daniel Ricciardo participated at the US Grand Prix as a driver for Alpine. He made his move to McLaren this season, partnering the young Briton, Lando Norris. In his interview, Ricciardo terms McLaren as the Papaya Team, and stated that the team is better than it was two years ago.
“I think we can be a hell of a force, because 2019, those Papaya cars (McLaren) gave a real headache in the race. I do believe that the car is now one or two steps ahead than it used to be 24 months ago. Now I am in that Papaya car, and I feel joy in my heart,” said Ricciardo in an American accent.
