Drive to Survive is produced by Netflix, and its return to the online platform was confirmed in August 2021. It was launched to promote F1 worldwide and has certainly been quite successful. It also enabled the fans to catch the drama happening on and off track. The 2021 season’s first 14 races’ viewership was higher by 53% in comparison to the 2020 season.

The first season of the show observed Mercedes and Ferrari not participating in the interviews and the series as a whole. The lack of these big teams allowed the smaller teams to have more cameras on them.

Season 4 of the show has been given a launch date of March 11, 2022, by Netflix. The online streamer revealed the date during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

For this season, the creative team wouldn’t have to cook the drama on their own, which they’ve been accused of in the past. For the same reason, the show has drawn flak from many people involved with the sport. Max Verstappen wouldn’t be a part of season 4, as he alleged that the show put him in a bad light.
