‘Funniest shit ever,’ Twitter in disbelief as Lewis Hamilton gets knocked out in Q1 in Saudi Arabia GP

Amidst the uncertainties caused by an attack on an Aramco facility nearby by the Houthis, the Saudi Arabian GP was given the green signal to go ahead for the weekend. And it has certainly not disappointed anyone.

The headline has been captured by Lewis Hamilton as he failed to make it to Q2! The British driver’s exit is one of the biggest shocks as he had won this race previously and certainly wouldn’t have been on anyone’s prediction list to be out from Q1.

This is for the first time since 2017 that Hamilton will be starting out of the top 10. After his elimination, the driver said, “So sorry, guys,” as he’ll be starting out 16th on Sunday, after being knocked out by Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll.
