The pre-season testing is underway in Barcelona. The drivers and the teams are in a fresh mood heading towards the new season and the era. And one of the best news that came for the F1 fans was the confirmation of Lewis Hamilton’s return to the sport. Now, there’s one thing for certain, that is the next season of F1 would be fiercer than 2021.
Lewis Hamilton had gone off the grid for more than a month following the events of Abu Dhabi. The driver was feeling dejected after he failed to win the F1 championship for the record eighth time against Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
Lewis Hamilton was also rumored to be retiring from the sport as the sources said that he lost faith in F1. However, a clarification at the Mercedes launch event made it clear that retirement was never on the cards for the Briton.
Lewis Hamilton’s strong message

Hamilton announced his comeback to the sport in a spectacular fashion. The driver shared a photo and went viral as it was the first time the fans heard from the driver in more than a month.
Lewis Hamilton, whilst speaking to FormulaPassion.it, said, “At the end of each season, you think about the future, especially at my age. I have evaluated all the options, but I love what I do and work with my team. I feel like I’m high, so why should I go? I feel in the best condition ever.”
The statement sends out a message to his critics, grid and certainly loudest to Max Verstappen, who’ll be out on the track to defend his championship title against the fueled and refreshed Lewis Hamilton. If Lewis says that he’s in his best condition ever, could we witness another era of Mercedes domination?
