REVEALED! Here’s the ‘whooping’ amount Lando Norris will pocket annually as per new McLaren contract

Lando Norris
Lando Norris has had a really busy week lately as he was seen to be present an award to Dua Lipa at the Brit Awards and is now looking forward to launching the new car of McLaren, the MCL36 for their upcoming season.
There are a lot of things that he needs to take care of but money is something he doesn’t need to worry about. McLaren are banking on the young Bristolian and have shown their likings by locking a multi million pound contract with the driver.
This contract will make him stand at 3rd in terms of annual income right behind Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen respectively as posted on Twitter. This deal is clear indication of the fact that McLaren recognize the potential and talent he has and has decided to go big with him.

He will be earning more than his team mate Daniel Riccardo who is much more experienced and Ferrari pair Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, as well as fellow Briton George Russell at Mercedes.
But the recognition is both ways. Lando also believes that McLaren is building some big and wants to be a part of their project and the journey. That’s the reason he has decided to do a 4 year deal which is something not so usual for Formula 1.
“Instead, though, he is staying with the team that he has been with in F1 since the start, and after a fine 2021 campaign where he was arguably best of the rest behind the two title protagonists, he’ll be eyeing further success in 2022 including a first race victory after narrowly losing out to Lewis Hamilton at the Russian Grand Prix last year thanks to a late rain shower,” as reported by givemesport.
But we need to understand that we have gone down this road before where young drivers have been offered multi million pounds contracts and have cracked under the pressure and failed tp fulfill the expectation. We all hope that Lando passes this test with flying colors and repay the belief that McLaren has shown in him.
