Twitter is absolutely buzzing after Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz brings Ferrari monumental 1-2 podium finish at Bahrain
Ferrari at the Bahrain GP tonight
The first race of the 2022 Formula One season has come to an end in Bahrain with a triumphant finish by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz who finished at P1 and P2 respectively followed by Mercedes’ 7-time world champion Lewis Hamilton at P3. This race hopefully marks good days ahead for the Italian-based racing team and the Tifosi after 2 year drought of absolutely 0 wins.
Ferrari made sure to turn quite a number of heads tonight with their F1-75 which has been nothing short of spectacular with its incredible pace and dependable reliability. They made sure to go into the Bahrain Grand Prix with the same consistency as they displayed in the two testing sessions, the three practice races and the qualifying session.
The last time Ferrari won a race was in 2019 and the last time they won the constructors’ championship was in 2008. Today also marks the first time since 2019 that Ferrari got a season opener win.
