“You guys put me in a difficult position,” Lewis Hamilton explains his furore radio during the Australian GP

The seven-time world champion and the Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton finished P4 at the 2022 Australian GP. The race returned to the calendar after two years, missing out in 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Lewis Hamilton, who had been the pole sitter at the Albert part for the past six editions, started P4 and finished the main race on P4, courtesy of the pace of his Mercedes, which currently is believed to be the third-fastest car on the grid.
During the race, we heard the Briton moaning over the radio, saying, “You guys put me in a difficult position.” This was perceived to be about the battle with his new teammate and the second runner-up in Australia, George Russell. However, Lewis Hamilton cleared out what he meant by the radio in the post-race interview.
Lewis Hamilton’s clarification over the radio

Lewis was fighting for the podium but couldn’t get ahead of his teammate. The driver was also heard saying, “I keep getting unlucky with safety cars.”
Lewis Hamilton used the interview after the race to clear out his stand and settle down any tensions that he thought he may have projected. The driver said, “I couldn’t fight for third because the engine was overheating so I had to back off. I just had to sit behind, but as I said. we bagged as many points as we could as a team, and that’s great.”
After having a mediocre per grid and a bad start as per Mercedes standards, the team managed to bag crucial points in Australia. George’s P3 finish earned him the first podium with Mercedes.
One of the criticisms for Lewis that have risen from the first three rounds of the 2022 season is his lack of flair and failure to get ahead of his teammate George Russell. The 7x champion would certainly be looking for a way to get his mojo back.
