Fortnite Impostors is the latest game mode in Fortnite which seems to be a lot like another very popular game, Among Us, where teams of players work together to either eliminate everyone else or figure the odd one out, or the Impostor. The Impostor Mode has been recently released which is supposed to be an Among Us inspired mode. The game Among us is a massive success and a treat for gamers, as the social deduction game feature is now available in Epic Games’ battle royale. Fortnite Impostors
A game that has taken the world by storm, powering streamers to new heights and giving regular gamers some acute hits, it’s something that has managed to stay fresh no matter how many hours have been put in. After the storyline of Fortnite got a massive change with the Fortnite season 7 update, Fortnite brought a new set of items for the community to the game as well. However, the latest is not very much pleasing to the two communities.
Fortnite Impostors is a game mode for up to 10 players. Each player is given a number from 1 to 10 to identify them with. When an Impostor eliminates an Agent, it leaves a Fragment. When this fragment is found by a player, it can be reported. This starts a discussion where players vote on who they think the Impostors are or try to trick others into voting for someone other than them if they’re an Impostor.
The new Fortnite v17.40 update has recently hit the live servers, and it has brought a bunch of new content to the battle royale. The newly introduced content that Fortnite 17.40 brings to the title includes the Wonder Woman Fortnite skin and the exciting Impostors Mode that seems to be an Among Us game mode within Fortnite. “Will you ensure the safety and security of The Bridge… or follow Jones’ footsteps and sabotage the Imagined Order from within? Discover your role in Fortnite Impostors,” says Epic.
The Impostors’ goal is simple, to eliminate enough Agents to take control of The Bridge before being discovered. You’ll have plenty of tools up your sleeve to sow chaos along the way, says epic.
- Disable Assignments – Temporarily freeze progress on all Assignments, buying you precious time.
- Teleport Players – Relocate all Agents and Impostors to somewhere else on The Bridge, covering your tracks.
- Peely Party – For a short time, all Agents and Impostors look like Peely so you can blend in with the crowd!
