The Ferrari Formula 1 team has ended the 2023 F1 season as the third-best team on the grid. While the season is being considered a disappointment by several pundits, Ferrari’s boss, Fred Vasseur has assured that the Italian outfit will push itself to the brink in every aspect during 2024.

It has been over a decade since Ferrari last won an F1 world championship. This year’s SF-23 was not able to perform as per expectations and thus, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz were not able to express themselves. However, Fred Vassuer is determined to change Ferrari’s fortunes next year.

While shedding light on the same in detail, he detailed, as reported by Motorsport, the team’s hopes and plans for 2024. Looking at the strong reaction of Vasseur, it is pretty clear that Ferrari means business during 2024 and is going to go gun-ho in trying to achieve its objectives.

We won't have to upset everything in 2024. When you're 3, or 4 tenths behind... I mean, not even Red Bull has a magic wand. They're doing a better job. We lost a lot of points because of the reliability, the operations in track, and impediments. We must not just focus on one area. If we found ourselves concentrating on doing that, it would be wrong. It won't be like that. We have a different approach to that, we will try to bring every aspect to the limit.

Fred Vasseur needs to deliver at Ferrari in the upcoming years

While Fred Vasseur has admitted that his team is going to push the limits in every aspect in 2024, he needs to deliver in the upcoming years. Vasseur was brought in place of Mattia Binotto to steer the Ferrari ship, but until now, things have not gone well for the team under his tenure.

2024 could prove to be the perfect launching pad from where Fred Vassuer can start to stamp his authority on the Italian giants. Moreover, he has two prolific drivers in his arsenal in the form of Sainz and Leclerc and if things turn out well next year, the trio could prove lethal.

The Ferrari F1 team is a historic outfit at the pinnacle of motor racing. 2022 was the year when they were able to put up some kind of a fight for the title and going forward, they would hope that they are very soon able to have a serious go at the coveted F1 world championship once again.
