Benoît Paire, the 23rd seed at French Open 2020 will challenge World No.99 Federico Coria, in the second round of Roland Garros on September 30th.

Benoît Paire vs Federico Coria: Preview
Paire has had a rough road to recovery after he contracted Covid-19 and was not allowed to play in the U.S Open 2020. The French player’s physical and mental health immensely suffered and he couldn’t perform well in the Italian Open 2020. He was seemingly frustrated at his poor form and was defeated by Jannik Sinner in straight sets. Even in the subsequent German Open, Paire receded to give a walkover to a fired-up Casper Rudd.

After an impressive performance in the Italian Open and winning all his qualifying matches, Coria went on to win his first-round match against Jason Jung in straight sets with a score of 7-5, 7-6(6), 7-6(3).
