French Open 2020: Novak Djokovic asks reporter “what do you want?”

Novak Djokovic won an easy match in three sets against Mikael Ymer. He ended with 6-0, 6-2, 6-3, win and wrapped up the first set in just 20 minutes. The Serbian was amusing the spectators too, as he seemed animated to witness an old friend in the stands.
The World No.1 had a candid post-match conference as he mocked a journalist friend. He seemed to pull his leg and enquired on his views about the Serbian.
You don’t like me: Novak Djokovic

Ubaldo Scanagatta questioned Novak Djokovic on the reason behind giving a long answer. The Italian journalist is the founder of Ubitennis and has covered 132 Grand Slams. His question garnered an unexpected response as Novak seemed to be in a jolly mood.
The conversation began when Scanagatta asked, “Do you choose to give long answers because you respect us or do you have less questions to answer at the end?”
Novak Djokovic replied as a friend, I don’t know how to comprehend what you just asked me, because I don’t know if you’re satisfied or not satisfied with my answers. If you want me to keep them short, I will keep them short. You tell me, Ubi. You know you’re one of my favorites. So tell me, what do you want?”
He further added that he knows he is not the favourite of Scanagatta “You are one of my favorites, but I see that I am not one of your favorites. In your background, I can see two familiar faces (Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal) that definitely is not me there.”
Djokovic has reached Round 2. He will aim to clinch the French Open 2020 title and maintain his position at No.1 in the world.
