17-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic will look to maintain his dominance when he takes on qualifier Daniel Elahi Galan in a third-round encounter at the French Open 2020. Galan has already surprised everyone by reaching this far at Roland Garros and now he has a golden opportunity to showcase his talent against the World No.1.

Talking about the performance in the tournament so far, Djokovic has dropped just 10 games in his first two matches. The 33-year old Serb first sailed past Mikael Ymer in straight sets 6-0, 6-2, 6-3 in the opening round and then demolished Ricardas Berankis with same intensity 6-1, 6-2, 6-2 in the Round of 64.

On the other hand, Elahi Galan, after entering the main draw through qualifiers, nearly bowed out in the first round. The 24-year old Colombian was two sets-to-one down before making a comeback to beat Cameron Norrie 4-6, 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, 6-1. The major surprise though came in the second round as Galan stunned Tennys Sandgren 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 to achieve the best result of his career so far.
