It’s hard to keep your eyes off when the 23-time Grand Slam champion and her daughter are doing something together. But it’s harder to stop from acclaiming how marvelous they are as a bunch. Thus, when Serena Williams posed with her daughter for Weitzman’s 2021 Spring campaign, it took over the internet instantly. Also, it left the family and friends equally amazed at the pair.
In the photo, they are wearing identical clothes and even shoes of similar sizes. It pretty much explains the story of the tennis queen and her daughter.
She wrote, “I guess a love of shoes runs in the family,” with the picture.
Firstly, the husband and father, Alexis Ohanian Sr., shared the mother and daughter’s adorable picture on Instagram. For the caption, he chose the dancing partner’s emoticon. Following him, Serena’s sister, Venus Williams, commented on their picture. The seven-time Grand Slam champion responded, ‘My baby’.
Lastly, the two-time Australian Open champion and friend Victoria Azarenka shared the photo in her Instagram story. The Belarusian professional wrote “Absolute” at the top of the image.
The 39-year-old American is making the most of her time off the court. But Serena will also likely return on the court soon.
With her Australian Open 2021 semifinals defeat to Naomi Osaka, many debates stirred up over her retirement. However, tennis fans know that the American will not give up on her dream so easily.
She is waiting on the toes for her 24th Grand Slam glory and equalling the great Margaret Court’s record. Hopefully, we will see her make that history before the end of this year.
