Former Spanish WTA star Garbine Muguruza recently talked about the impact the Big Three had on the tennis fraternity by winning multiple Grand Slam titles. As all three- Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and Rafael Nadal won Grand Slam titles in double-digits, Muguruza claims it decreased the significance of single-digit Grand Slam titles.
The Spaniard herself won two Grand Slam titles during her career. However, Muguruza feels they were not counted as a major achievement, as others have won a lot more than that.

The Big 3 has set the bar so high that winning three Grand Slams seems like an insignificant thing. It's a tragedy. Imagine the number of Grand Slam tournaments that would have been shared. This period was very difficult for the others. The three were still there.Garbine Muguruza said on El Larguero podcast.
Muguruza called it a tragedy for others and claimed that had the Big Three been not there, the Grand Slam titles would have been shared among others. She feels the Big Three set the bar really high with their consistency.
Garbine Muguruza talks about the rise of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner
After talking about the dominance of the Big Three, Garbine Muguruza also touched upon the future superstars of the tour- Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. While she praised her compatriot Alcaraz for his aggression, Muguruza lauded Sinner for his calmness.

The Spanish ace talked about Alcaraz’s French Open triumph and highlighted how the 21-year-old pulled off a win despite injury concerns and against a formidable opponent in Alexander Zverev. Muguruza likes it when Alcaraz “raises his fist”.
Half injured, I didn't know how he was going to be and little by little he is gaining confidence. And to Zverev I saw him as dangerous, but 'Carlitos' is outstanding. I get excited when I see him raise his fist, I love it. Sinner is super calm, like a wall, and then you see Carlos and he is euphoric all the time. I see them so young and earning so much…When I was 20, I was a disaster.Garbine Muguruza said about Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner
Notably, while Alcaraz clinched the title in Paris, Sinner won it in Melbourne. The two future superstars are now headed to Wimbledon to fight for another Grand Slam title. In the potential absence of Novak Djokovic, Alcaraz and Sinner will be the title favorites.
Alcaraz is already the defending champion and will be eager to save his crown. Sinner, meanwhile, is improving cent by cent. The Italian has started the grass-court swing on a good note as he is in the final of the Halle Open. Sinner will look to lift the title at the ATP 500 tournament and take the confidence into The Championships.
