Gervonta Davis’s stunning knockout mesmerizes Conor McGregor, Irishman takes to twitter to praise him

Making his PPV debut, Gervonta Davis produced a stunning display knocking out Leo Santa Cruz of Mexico with a vicious uppercut, handing him only his second defeat in his professional career. The win saw Gervonta Davis retain the WBA Lightweight Title and win the WBA Super Featherweight Title at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The 24-0 fighter got praises from various notable personalities, since the knockout was as brutal as Joaquin Buckley’s spinning KO in the UFC.

One of the top contenders for the knockout of the year, Gervonta is going from strength to strength after every fight. Even more impressive was, when the American’s knockout impressed UFC’s very own “The Notorious” Conor McGregor. Taking to twitter Conor McGregor expressed his awe over Gervonta knocking out Leo Santa Cruz.

Taking to twitter, Conor McGregor posted about Gervonta saying, “My lord! What a vicious uppercut that was. Praying for the health and safety of Santa Cruz there. The young man “Tank” Davis has some serious venom in that back hand shot. Incredible!” Like as always, McGregor advertised his Proper Twelve Brand Whiskey at the bottom of the post! One fan even commented that Gervonta Davis executed the stunning knockout right on the Proper Twelve ad in the boxing ring.
