It does seem like Giulia was truly spellbound by the enormity of the ambience at NXT: Stand & Deliver this year. Which is why she didn’t even realize that the Wells Fargo Center came unglued at her first glimpses on the jumbotron. In fact, as the crowd kept going at her, she thought the fans were going bananas as if Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson had entered the building.

She made these confessions while speaking on Creators. But those cheers were actually in her favor which Giulia repents she didn’t catch at that juncture. The giant video screen was exactly above where she was planted in the crowd. As a result, the former NJPW Strong Women’s Champion couldn’t locate it at once. Afterwards, when she saw the replay, the London-born wrestler hilariously admitted that she put on such a goofy face during what was a gargantuan moment for her.

Nonetheless, the time is hers and she’s ready to paint the town red. Shortly after her sojourn at the WrestleMania weekend in Philadelphia, Giulia flew back to Japan. She wrapped up her remaining dates with Stardom. It was then reported that the 30-year-old had agreed to sign with WWE. There were even rumors of her debut at NXT Heatwave. But an uncalled wrist injury stalled those plans.

That was a huge cheer!" I thought, "Was that for me?" When I checked the video later, I had such a goofy look on my face, and I thought, "How embarrassing!

As of now, the Beautiful Madness is paying a lip-service to her long-time boss-cum-mentor Rossy Ogawa. Giulia has had a few matches in Ogawa’s recently launched wrestling promotion named Marigold. She’ll have her swansong with the company come August 19 against Mai Sakurai.

After that, she’ll be all set to begin with WWE. The Italian-Japanese grappler is pegged to debut on NXT shortly. As a matter of fact, things are leaning towards her integration into the women’s title picture where the reigning champion Roxanne Perez has already called her shots.

What’s the WWE status of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson?

With a promise that he’ll see Cody Rhodes down the road, The Rock last appeared in WWE on Raw after WrestleMania XL. It’s been over four months. And the fans have already started to feel the heat on Johnson’s absence.

Recently, he finished up filming for Smashing Machine. However, The Final Boss also picked up an unfortunate injury during the course of the shoot. Yesterday, the 52-year-old took to X to formally announce the release date of Moana 2.

It’s set to hit the theatres on November 27. One might expect The Great One to plot a WWE return sooner rather than later. There’s heavy speculation that he’ll be on the show when Raw premiers on Netflix. But for that, there’s still a long way to go.
