One of the leading Indian gaming company, Cosmic Byte has announced a tournament for Battlegrounds Mobile India which has been named as God Mode BGMI (Rise to Flame). The tournament boasts a prize pool of 10 lakhs.

October has been the golden month for BGMI players as many eSports organizations, prominent gaming companies are announcing third party BGMI tournaments in order to groom the players before the commencement of Krafton’s biggest tournament for Battlegrounds Mobile India, BGMI India Series 2021. As speculated by renowned content creators, the month of October will be filled with BGMI tourneys whose total prize pool can climb up to 2 Crores.

Cosmic Byte is one of the leading companies that sells best in class gaming gear for players. The company has announced its first ever eSports IP for Battlegrounds Mobile India where 50 invited teams will be battling for a prize pool of 10 lakhs. This tournament will be hosted in partnership with TEC (The Esports Club) which has previously held tournaments for BGMI.

In an official announcement, Cosmic Byte’s Managing Partner and Founder Ronak Gupta said, “Cosmic Byte God Mode is our way of helping create invaluable opportunities for gamers through our events and we’re extremely excited to be starting with BGMI.”

Schedule & Format

Format
  • Underdog Qualifiers: 11th to 13th October 2021
  • Main Event: 18th to 24th October 2021

This tournament will feature all the underdog players from the country as well as professional players. A total of 50 teams will be invited and the tournament will take place in two phases. At phase one, 18 teams will be shortlisted who will later join the 20 best BGMI teams of the country who will be invited directly at the finals.

Prize Pool Distribution

The total prize pool of the upcoming event is 10 lakhs. It will be distributed among the teams in the following way:

  • First place: INR 5,00,000 ($6,700).
  • Second place: INR 2,50,000 ($3,350)
  • Third Place: INR 1,50,000 ($2,005)
  • Fourth and Fifth Place: INR 50,000 ($670 each)
