Golden State Warriors put to test against Philadelphia 76ers without Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors are definitely slumped this season. Their roster has been plagued with injuries this season. After Klay Thompson missed out the season, Stephen Curry has now been out with a tail bone injury. This is a very crucial time for the team to put in efforts for playoff spot. The Philadelphia 76ers have been majorly affected by injuries as well. Their main super star, Joel Embiid is still out with a serious knee injury. Even guard Seth Curry is out for the match. Despite the injury scare both the teams have rattled their way past criticisms.
The GSW and 76ers locked horns today in a crucial match. The Golden State Warriors are slacked of Steph which has been a major drawback. He has been the pioneer to Dubs’ offence. It was an expected consequence as Warriors faced defeat. But the definitely showed the zeal that Steve Kerr wanted in presence of Steph. The 76ers started with Tony Bradly being deficit of Joel Embiid. The young center did not disappoint and added a double-double to his name.
What went wrong for the Dubs in the last minute as 76ers emerge victorious?
The Golden state initially trailed to the Eastern super power. However, they got back to them in the 3rd quarter. Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr. started playing the best off bench. Wiggins made much needed shots and ended with 14 points. While Kelly Oubre joined the double-double club with 24-points and 10 rebounds to his name. GSW almost over turned the consequence in the 4th quarter. They took a 5-point lead and held on to it. However, 76ers had different plans. Ben Simmons and Tony Bradley added the required points and grabbed the tough rebounds respectively. Danny Green was crucial in the dying moments making the baskets count.
Tobias Harris has been the best 5th man on the team for 76ers. The unconventional player has been really mesmerizing. He added 25 points and held the defense line. More importantly Warriors are off the hook being completely dependent on Curry. James Wiseman made back to the squad after a wrist injury. The Golden State Warriors will look to make rest games favour them and slide back to playoff spot.
