The debate of Michael Jordan versus LeBron James is always amongst the mind of every NBA fan out there. This question had once come in front of ace golfer Tiger Woods as well, who didn’t shy away from putting his opinion in front of all.
The 46-year-old jokingly commenced while saying that G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) was a bad thing when he was growing up. However, he later went on to draw comparisons between the playing styles of two legendary ballers. In his interaction with GolfWeek back in 2018, Woods had said:
“First of all, when I was growing up, G.O.A.T. was a bad thing. You know, but it has changed now. They’re both great in different ways. If you look at MJ, he was a prolific scorer and played defence like no other, was always first-team all-defence. LeBron is different. He’s like a hybrid of MJ and Magic (Johnson), which is so different because he’s bringing up the ball a lot.”

The American golfer further went on to leap massive praises for MJ and LeBron on how the two make up mental and physical adjustments during their game.
“MJ never really did that. I mean, he had Pip as a point forward a lot of times, and you would think that was kind of LeBron-ish, but they’re very different in how they help both teams. I think MJ did get to the finals and dominate the league in a different way than LeBron because of the nature of their bodies, built and mental make-up in their game.
“But at the end of the day, they both win and we look at them saying it’s unbelievable what they’re doing. The two have just changed the game and how it’s played and we didn’t know it could be played that way,” Woods added.
