The 2023 LIV Golf season starts on a hot note as Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims stuns fans with a cutout blue dress at a party in Mexico. Following their summer wedding, the couple has been seen updating their social media profile with glimpses of their life after the PGA Tour defect.
Jena sent social media in frenzy following her cutout party dress picture on Wednesday. LIV is preparing for its season opener on Friday after it took the world stage in a storm in 2022. While the Mexico party started on a pretty high note, Jena walked out donned in a hot blue dress and with Stephanie Gottlieb jewelry.
Currently, the Smash GC team captain, Brooks Koepka along with his teammates, Chase Koepka, Jason Kokrak, and Matthew Wolff took the stage on Wednesday at the party. The moment was captured in Jena’s Instagram post, captioning “Let’s go @smachgc”, according to New York Post.

Jena Sims talks about Brooks Kopeka wanting to be No. 1 again
Brooks Koepka defected from PGA Tour and joined the Saudi-backed league LIV Golf in June 2022. When reasons were asked for his PGA leave, the 4-time major champion stated, “Opinions change. I feel very comfortable with the decision I made. I’m happy, and did what’s best for me.”
Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims also appeared on Netflix show Full Swing following their honeymoon in Europe after June 2022 nuptials. In one of the episodes, Kopeka stated he’s looking to bring back the spark from the previous year like in US Open and PGA Championship.
Currently ranked 85th in the Official World Golf Ranking, Brooks stated he wishes to recapture the No. 1 spot in the sport. According to Jena, “Brooks wants to win, Brooks wants to be at number one again”. Now with the LIV season starting, eyes will be on the sport whether it be fans or critics.
Brooks Koepka further discussed his slump day questions as he tried to pick up his pace walking away from PGA into the LIV world. After missing his cut at the Masters, he commented “I’ve had these question marks for like the last year and a half”.
“Am I going to be the same golfer? Am I ever going to be the same? And I still don’t know where I’m at. I’ll be honest with you, I can’t compete with these guys week-in and week-out.”
Following his missing cut, and dealing with injuries in the 2019 PGA Championships, have been hard for the 32-year-old. After finishing 3rd in the Phoenix Open a year ago, Brooks said he lost confidence in himself, “Probably lost confidence a little bit if I’m honest”. “So if you lose confidence, it’s kind of tough to get it back just immediately.”
He continued, “Golf’s so crazy because when you have it you feel like you’re never going to lose it. And when you don’t have it you feel like you’re never going to get it. That’s kind of how I feel on the greens right now.”
“I never really felt that way leaving a golf course, ever”. “Never felt embarrassed in the 32 years of life of playing golf. I don’t know why. Still don’t know why.”
“My whole career’s going like straight up and then all of a sudden I’m kind of on, I don’t want to say the other side of it, but, it’s like, OK, well we’re going down now. This is the worst I’ve ever struggled in my whole life. I have to figure out how to get out of this thing before it gets too late.”
