Only a few hardcore fans may know Lee’s name. But Lee’s strip club comments sparked mixed reactions not only in the golf community but also on X. While some fans took it as a joke, some fans did not like this comment. Check out some more reactions regarding this incident below:
Turning professional in 2009, Lee experienced early success with wins on the European Tour and the Korean Tour. He secured his first PGA Tour victory at the Greenbrier Classic in 2015, solidifying his status as a rising star. However, consistency proved elusive, and Lee faced challenges navigating the pressures of professional golf.
In 2023, he joined the controversial LIV Golf series. He also bagged Championship and $4 MILLION after an intense 4-way playoff. and is currently playing in the second tournament of the 2024 LIV Golf League. The event at Mayakoba didn’t go well for Lee and his team but they would be hoping to turn the tables this time at Las Vegas.
Recently LIV Golf has faced criticism as their golfers have been denied the Official World Golf Rankings points because the OWGR committee rejected their plea seeking ranking points. Several players associated with LIV Golf are facing a huge impact on their world ranking. It would be interesting to see how things will pan out.
