“Looks seriously PI**ED”- Former World No.1 Dustin Johnson not happy with his decision to join LIV golf, pockets not full
Dustin Johnson
After having joined LIV golf, Dustin Johnson’s earnings have gone up quite a notch. The American golfer recently won an $18 million bonus after ending the LIV season at the top of the standings for the year’s competition.
Although he earlier joked about regretting his decision of joining LIV, it seems like Johnson is actually a bit discontented with what he is taking home in terms of finances and his own performances on the golf course in recent times. The 38-year-old recently said that he had hoped he would earn much more money from LIV considering his golf status and fame, being one of the league’s marquee signings back in June.
However, Johnson also said his goal was to win all events hosted by the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV golf league this year, which he wasn’t technically able to achieve despite doing well.
“Yeah, I’m actually a little under where I thought I would be. But you know, I’ve done okay. I didn’t quite reach my goal. But yeah, I’m happy with it so far,” he remarked.

Apart from LIV, Dustin Johnson also got lucky with long-time girlfriend and legendary ice hockey player Wayne Gretzky’s daughter Paulina this year
Johnson married long-time partner Paulina Gretzky recently in a Tennessee-style wedding. The couple, who announced their engagement way back in 2013 finally tied the knot at the Blackberry Farm in Tennessee.
Gretzky who is 33, and Johnson who is 37, were joined by their close friends and family for their wedding weekend. This included their sons Tatum, 7, and River, 4. Gretzky was also reported to wear a Vera Wang dress for the big day.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Paulina is a popular actress, model & singer. She has appeared in some the films like Grown Ups 2 (2013), Fame (2009) and Guns, Girls and Gambling (2012). Admitting that singing and song-writing is her first love, Paulina, 33, has also had record deals in the past. She began her singing career much earlier and sang “I Will Remember You” in a public performance at the Heritage Classic back in 2003.
FYI, Paulina is the eldest of four siblings, and daughter of NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, arguably the greatest Ice Hockey player of all time.
