The name of Elon Musk continues to pop up in internet searches. The owner of X (formerly called Twitter) has been a highly active user on social media. He has time and again shared memes and jokes while entertaining audiences’ ideas. His recent post has brought golfing legends John Daly and Tiger Woods into the mix.

The past few years have seen a rise in technologies and AI. One of the rising ones of them is ChatGPT. To counter this application, Musk is now launching Grok Chatbot.

Why did Elon Musk use the meme of John Daly and Tiger Woods?

The year 2023 has been a significant one for golf. The merger of golf has shaken the golfing world. However, very few fans would have hoped to see John Daly and Tiger Woods being referenced by Elon Musk. The American businessman has brought out laughter in the community by using the image of the two golf greats, but why did he use the meme of them?

The meme talked about the moment Woods and Daly shared at the 150th Open Championship. Since the image went viral, it has become a popular meme on social media. Musk used this template to share the launch of the new Grok Chatbot.

This new Chatbot is reported to be different than other AI apps. According to Musk and several others, Grok Chatbot is a little hilarious and light-hearted compared to the no-nonsense ChatGPT. This is the reason why Daly, who is known for his hilarious antics is referred to as the new app compared to the simple and serious one of Woods on the other hand.

Several users would also point out the difference between the two apps by comparing the golf greats. While the 57-year-old Daly has only claimed a few wins on the tour, Woods is regarded as one of the greatest to ever grace the game. It will be interesting to see if ChatGPT can actually hold the ground like Woods and dominate the AI market.
