Located near the 18th hole of the course, it is a landmark that should not be touched.

However, recent changes to the Swilcan bridge at St. Andrews have left fans shocked and appalled, considering that it is quite a loved landmark by all. The sporting landmark has become an eyesore for many. Unforgettable moments like Jack Nicklaus‘ retirement have now been washed away under a patio-style design.
