“Golf needs Phil Mickelson like America needs Donald Trump”: Nick Adams irks Americans with Liv Golf series tweet
The recent Saudi backed LIV Golf Series has cause quite the controversy in the golf world. The tension between the golfers who made the switch and those who did not is quite extreme. Among the golfers joining the series include Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed, just to name a few.
For the Saudi tour, Phil Mickelson was a big fish for the LIV Golf Series because not only was he ready to play it, but he would also get the attention of other golfers to make the switch. Not only that, they would also be getting a good amount of money from the Tour to come play, which became a deciding factor for many. This however did not sit well with many, and people had a lot to say about Mickelson especially.
