The ongoing Saudi backed LIV Golf Series has caused quite the controversy among the golfing world. As several golfers are making the shift to the LIV series, it has already begun at the Centurion Club just outside London. These golfers include Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau to mention a few.

Yet, Greg Norman has promised to align with the golfers that make the shift to the LIV Series, saying g that they should be allowed to play golf freely. Phil Mickelson during this time has managed to make quite the headlines, after being targeted for his comments. He went on a self imposed hiatus a few months ago, after his comments about the Saudi backed series went viral. He talked about the brutal ways of the Saudi regime, but justified it as using them as leverage to negotiate with the PGA Tour.

This was made viral by Alan Shipnuck, who is writing an unauthorised Phil Mickelson biography.

As Mickelson gave a press conference recently, Shipnuck was forcibly removed from the conference that was held after the first round of the LIV Series. Shipnuck initially asked Norman if he was aware of what was happening, to which the latter replied that he did not. “Did not hear. Thanks for letting me know,” Norman responded.

However, this was not the case at all, as Shipnuck later found footage that showed Greg Norman standing in the background as he got kicked out. He stood there and watched the entire situation unfold in front of him. “Oh, mystery solved,” tweeted Shipnuck with the screen grab.
