The LIV Golf series seemed in limbo some months ago. As the breakaway Saudi-backed series has managed to create quite a bit of drama over its controversial signings, it is evident they are here to stay. The fresh, new style of golf, has impressed the likes of Phil Mickelson, Kevin Na and Bryson DeChambeau.

Unfortunately for all the LIV Golfers, the PGA Tour has imposed sanctions and suspensions on them. The Majors are still under consideration, while the DP World Tour has not taken any action. Yet, the one big thing missing for the LIV Series is the OWGR Points.

Currently, the OWGR board does not recognise the LIV tournaments for a variety of reasons. Yet, Kevin Na is confident that the Series will get OWGR Points and golfers will be allowed to play at the Majors.

“I want to play the Majors.. I strongly feel that we’ll get ranking points, I’m not too worried about it, I feel like it’s just a matter of time. I don’t think it’s an accurate world ranking without every tour and every player being ranked,” said Na recently.

To add to that, Na is looking forward for more players joining the series. He is excited to sit down with some golfers, have dinner with them and have them join his team. Na is confident that some of the best golfers in the world will make their way to LIV, especially as he has already been contacted by some of them.
